Do you have a rising Kindergartner?
Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 30 of the school year to be eligible to attend kindergarten. There are no exceptions to this state requirement.
Step 1: Families must complete the registration process online (click here).
Once the preregistration process is complete, the parent/guardian will receive an email notification that the application has been received.
Step 2: Stephanie Moss, Woolridge register secretary, will then reach out to schedule a time to visit the school on April 9th to complete the final steps of the registration process.
Step 3: On Thursday, April 9th, the parent/ guardian will need the following documents:
Picture ID for enrolling parent
Child's original birth certificate
Proof of residency (closing documents, current rental agreement for a period of at least one year)
Two pieces of certified mail.
Physical & immunization records. A record of current physical completed within a year of the first day of school and immunizations are required before a child can start school in Virginia. http://vdh.virginia.gov/immunization/requirements/
